HSO performed a programme of beautiful 20th Century music on Saturday July 14. It was a great afternoon for players and audience members alike. Many thanks to everyone who came out to fill the seats in the Midland Town Hall - it's so wonderful to have your support! We've hardly had an empty seat at any of our concerts this year which has been fantastic! See you at our next concert on September 15!

It's 2011 and we are very excited to be celebrating the HSO's 30th birthday! Three decades on, we're bigger and better than ever. A lot has changed since the 80's (the hairstyles, for starters), but one thing will never change - we love sharing our passion for music with each other and with the local community! So here's to the future. Cheers!
Do you love playing music? Would you like to meet like-minded people who share your passion? The HSO meets on Monday evenings and we are always on the look-out for more players. Click here to learn more.
Our Symphonic Spectacular concert was held on October 22. Despite the unseasonally dreary weather, it was a great turnout. Many thanks to everyone who came along - we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! The Sentimental Saraband from Benjamin Britten's Simple Symphony was definitely a highlight, as well as some beautiful piano playing by Irena Vasil'eva.
