HSO is proud to announce that we raised a grand total of $2836 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association of Western Australia. $2000 of this was from ticket sales, so we'd like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who came to our show in support of such a great cause. The concert was performed in honour of long-time HSO member Jane Banner who was also presented with a lifetime membership award on the day. Motor neurone disease (also known as ALS) refers to a group of diseases involving nerve degeneration, ultimately leading to paralysis. Unfortunately, not a lot is known about what causes this illness, and therefore there is currently no cure. Your generous donations have gone towards providing care, information and support for local MND sufferers and their families. For more information and to donate to MND research, please visit http://www.mndaust.asn.au. Thank you once again for your support.
