Feedback December 2013:

I was at the Midland Town Hall last night, it was my first concert in over 50 years. I was blown away by it all. Fantastic event. Inspiring . Thrilling. Moving. Looking forward to making HSO a regular outing. Thanks to you all.

Feedback August 2013:

Wow, came to our first HSO concert, Water, at Kalamunda today. Thoroughly enjoyed it - what talented musicians and loved Shaun's humorous narrative too. Looking forward to coming along to many more performances. Thank you all :-)

Feedback December 2012:

I would like to thank the HSO for the wonderful shows last Saturday.
My Grandchildren all love the Children's Concert and look forward to it every year and the elder ones are now keen to go to all the concerts. The evening performance was fantastic. Wishing you all a Happy Christmas and all the Best for 2013 and some more great Concerts

Feedback September 2012:

Am so impressed by the performance last night at Midland Town Hall, Sat 15th Sept - Beethoven Overture and Symphony as well as Hadyn. The violins were especially sweet, and the big sound of Beethoven was wonderful. We also really enjoyed the Trumpet concerto - so close up and fresh. Well done all.

2012: Midland Place Community Development Award in recognition of the contribution that the Hills Symphony Orchestra makes to the community.

Thank you to the City of Swan for the award. As a group of hard-working volunteeers, it is always wonderful to have our efforts formally recognised.

Dear Linda,

On behalf of Church Council, I write to thankyou and the members of the Hills Symphony Orchestra for the splendid concert held at the Performing Arts Theatre.

The attendance was excellent which is some indication of the way the orchestra's performance is appreciated and enjoyed.

Please convey our sincere thanks to each member of the orchestra.

Hi Linda,

Wow, we are all still talking about you and even sort of nahnah for the ones that didnt go. The comments we have had from Fri and sat are just so awesome. You guys were brilliant and we cant say enough how excited and pleased we were to have you all perform and to also do it so well.

Well done and congrats to you all, Shaun was fantastic and please let everyone know how pleased we all were. Would certainly love to have you back, and if not next year, certainly the year after, so please pencil us in.

Trish from the choir is still very excited and I think they all will be on a high for a long time to come, not often you get to sing with your very own orchestra.

I hope all the billets went well and also that your trip to Jurien went well as well.
Once again many, many thanks and it was a pleasure to work with you all, keep in contact and if we can help out in anyway please let me know.
Thanks.

Dear Linda,

Once again the evening was outstanding and I want to thank all of the members of the Orchestra and others who made the concert possible, for a wonderful and exhilarating evening which was enjoyed, no doubt, by all those who attended. Many people responded extremely positively after the concert and were thrilled to have been present.

Please pass on to your members our grateful appreciation for another most enjoyable evening of glorious music. It is such a joy to see all of your members, both young and old, joining together and having such fun in blessing other people with their combined musical gifts and talents. A special thankyou to Shaun for creating such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

May God continue to bless you and all of the activities of the Orchestra. Thankyou once again.

To the Hills Symphony Orchestra.

It was our first experience of The Hills Symphony Orchestra yesterday at the Kalamunda Theatre Arts Centre.
Congratulations for providing such a delightful feast of music.

We, as the audience appreciated and loved sharing Shaun’s “father-to-be” moments, too. Trust the happy occasion will be given due publicity – we are all waiting with baited breath!

Would it be possible to purchase a CD with the most beautiful, soul-touching piece of violin music performed by Alan Taylor – Ashokan Farewell. I also know of another friend who was at the concert who would also like a copy, if available, of course.
Please let us know the cost, etc.

Keep the music playing!

Kind regards to you all.

Robin and Graham Hewitt
