Certificate of Appreciation

Hi Linda,
Wow, we are all still talking about you and even sort of nahnah for the ones that didnt go. The comments we have had from Fri and sat are just so awesome. You guys were brilliant and we cant say enough how excited and pleased we were to have you all perform and to also do it so well.
Well done and congrats to you all, Shaun was fantastic and please let everyone know how pleased we all were. Would certainly love to have you back, and if not next year, certainly the year after, so please pencil us in.
Trish from the choir is still very excited and I think they all will be on a high for a long time to come, not often you get to sing with your very own orchestra.
I hope all the billets went well and also that your trip to Jurien went well as well.
Once again many, many thanks and it was a pleasure to work with you all, keep in contact and if we can help out in anyway please let me know.
Thanks.

It was our first experience of The Hills Symphony Orchestra yesterday at the Kalamunda Theatre Arts Centre.
Congratulations for providing such a delightful feast of music.
We, as the audience appreciated and loved sharing Shaun's "father-to-be" moments, too. Trust the happy occasion will be give due publicity - we are all waiting with baited breath!
Would it be possible to purchase a CD with the most beautiful, soul-touching piece of violin music performed by Alan Taylor - Ashokan Farewell. I also know of another friend who was at the concert who would also like a copy, if available, of course. Please let us know the cost, etc.
Keep the music playing!

Kind regards to you all.

Dear Lesley

We had a wonderful time and thought the performance by the orchestra and all the helpers was excellent.
This must have been the best ever for a Christmas event, and so good for all the children.
Well done, and whoever thought up all the ideas should be congratulated.

Regards

Glennis

Dear HSO,

I have just arrived home after a really fantastic evening of your music at Mundaring. I have always enjoyed your concerts over the last two years but you really excelled yourselves this evening and I thank you.

My friend who usually comes with me also thoroughly enjoyed the evening as did another friend who attended her first HSO concert this evening - "it just blew me away" was her comment.

I wish to congratulate you also on the diversity of music that you presented, it was something for everyone and was presented very professionally. The other thing that was so evident was that all the musicians were thoroughly enjoying themselves which made it a lot more enjoyable for us.

Thank you ever so much and we are looking forward to seeing & hearing you again on the 31st October in Kalamunda.

Yours sincerely,
Pat

Dear HSO,

Very many thanks for the wonderful concert you gave on Sunday. It was bliss to hear such music and so professionally played, particularly by folk like myself who are unable to get into the city to hear a symphony orchestra. Many congratulations to everyone concerned, please come again soon!

Again many thanks for your splendid performance which was greatly appreciated.

Wishing you every success for the future,
Margaret

Dear HSO

Thank you for providing a concert in the community that was essentially free to the patrons. It is good for the Ballajura community to have this cultural experience that is near to them at a price that they can afford. This will insure a continuation of culture to the young people and future generations in the future because of musical experiences like this.
Also, this community orchestra provides an opportunity for young and old to participate in an orchestra that is not a professional one. It was gratifying to see old and young playing the instruments and enjoying this kind of participation. It was also good to see the players to mingle with the audience during the intermission.

All in all, we really enjoyed this opportunity that you have provided. Hope that you will be able to continue to provide such cultural events in the future for the local communities.

Yours sincerely,
James and Kathy
